Earl moved to San Francisco in 1965 after graduating from Indiana State University. After service in Vietnam, Earl returned to San Francisco to pursue a graduate degree at San Francisco State University. Before entering real estate, he established and became involved in various small businesses throughout the Bay Area, including home renovation.

In 1989, Earl began a a career in real estate with Century 21. After a combined six years with Century 21 and Hartford Realty, Earl moved to Coldwell Banker in a partnership with his wife, Carren. In 2007 the Shagley Team (Earl, Carren and Jennifer) joined Alain Pinel Realtors. Earl is a graduate of the Real Estate Institute.

Carren started her real estate career with Coldwell Banker in 1983. Her success earned her the Gold Circle Award for superior achievement in sales, a President's Club membership for excellence with both buyers and sellers, and the National Award for achievement in relocation services. In 1988, Carren joined TRI where she quickly became one of the firm's top producers. In 1995, she returned to Coldwell Banker to partner with her husband, Earl, and in 2003 with her daughter Jennifer. In 2007 the Shagley Team moved to Alain Pinel Realty for their real estate expertise and quality service.

Carren has lived in San Francisco since 1975. She is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.

In 2003, Jennifer Burden joined her parents, Earl and Carren Shagley, as a member of the Shagley Team. Jennifer grew-up in San Francisco, graduating from both Mission High School and San Francisco State University before attending law school in New York.

Jennifer practiced criminal and civil litigation for approximately nine years before her career change to real estate. Real estate allows Jennifer to combine her legal skills of negotiation and communication with her good work ethic, strong sales skills and service oriented approach to clients.

Jennifer enjoys working with both Buyers and Sellers to ensure that their purchase or sale of real estate is an emotional and financial success. Jennifer understands that Sellers need a good marketing plan, sales skills and help in preparing their home for sale. She also knows that Buyers need an agent with sound negotiation skills and support to navigate the bumpy and ever changing road of buying a home in San Francisco.

Jennifer currently lives in her Bernal Height's home and enjoys living in the best city in the world.
